Death of Samuel Lee.

One by one they go into the vast beyond. Samuel Lee is now numbered with the great throng of departed. He died yesterday forenoon, at his residence in the Fifth ward. Mr. Lee was one of our best citizens, modest and gentlemanly in deportment, frank and genial in his social relations, a kind and generous friend and neighbor, a sincere Christian, an honest man. His father is a clergyman of the M.E. church, and for many years ago was pastor of the Wesleyan church. Deceased has resided in Syracuse many years, and for the last twelve or fifteen years of the firm of Masters & Lee, book and job printers. For many years his health had not been good; consumption was working its ravages. The past few months he has been confined to his house, but has borne his trials with Christian meekness and fortitude. The wife, three daughters and three sons, will have the warm sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
