She leaves a husband and 10 children, 7 girls, 3 boys, 2 of the girls being about grown. She was the oldest daughter of the Rev. John Berry. She was a good mother, and wife, a kind neighbor and a conscientious Christian, and bore her sufferings uncomplainingly. She was always ready and willing to render any assistance to those in need. In her home life she was happy and contented, but said she was ready to go if it was Gods will.
The remains were laid to rest in the old Solomon Kessler graveyard to await the Resurrection. The bereaved family has the sympathy of an immense circle of friends who commend the sorrowing husband to follow in her faith and realize that the separation is only for a time and that he can join her in the great beyond if he only will.
