Major League Baseball Player. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was a catcher making his debut with the Boston Red Sox on April 20, 1960. For five seasons, he played for the Boston Red Sox in 1960, Los Angeles Angels (1961-63) and the Atlanta Braves in 1966. He ended his career with a record of 100 hits, 55 runs scored, 12 homeruns, 39 batted in and a .202 batting average. He died at age 62 in Garden Grove, California.
