Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Castleman Hewgley, 93, of 1509 Woodland st. will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Finley Dorris and Charlton funeral home, 2423 West End ave.
The Rev. James G. Gregg and the Rev. P. F. Langston will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery.
The body is at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hewgley died at 6 a.m. yesterday at a Nashville nursing home after an illness of five months.
She was a lifelong resident of Davidson county, beingborn in the Baker;s Grove community. Her parents were Josiah and Jane Jenkins Castleman.
Her husband, William Preston Hewgley, who died in 1920, was a farmer in Pennington's Bend community and later a dairyman on Pumping Station road. Mrs. Hewgley had lived at the Woodland st. address 30 years.
She was a member of Lockeland Baptist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edna Graham of Nashville; three sons, J.p. and I.G. Hewgley of Nashville, and I. C. Hewgley of Knoxville. 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren
