Funeral services for J. W. Hewgley, 74, of 1915 Shelby ave., a retired employe of Joy's florist shop, will be at 2 p.m. today at Finley Dorris and Charlton funeral home, 2323 West End ave.
James R. Greer will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetry. The body is at the funeral home.
Mr. Hewgley, a native of Wilson county, was found dead in bed at his residence at 2 p.m. yesterday. Authorities said he apparently had been dead for several days from natural causes. He lived alone.
He was educated in the Wilson county schools and attended old Peabody college in South Nashville.
He was married to the former Mamie Tanner of Nashville, who died 15 years ago.
Survivors include two brothers, I. c. Hewlgey, Knoxville, and I. G. Hewgley Nashville.
