Nancy later married Arch Beckstrom of Benjamin, Utah. They spent many years together traveling, dancing and loving all the many years they shared until he passed away in 1980. From the beginning, Nancy was a hard worker. As a young woman she worked on the farm with her family. She helped prepare meals for workers in the field and rode the derrick horse that stacked the hay. Before marrying, she worked at the Tremonton hospital. Many years later, as a young woman, widowed mother of four, she held varied and interesting jobs to support her family; such as wallpapering homes, farming, picking fruit and cleaning homes. Again, after being widowed with two more small children, she worked for Dixon Taylor Russell Draperies and BYU to support her small family. Nancy also served in many callings for the LDS Church. She served in the Primary, Relief Society Presidency and lastly, she dedicated 21 years volunteering at the Provo Temple. Nancy also volunteered for the Blackhawk Encampment as either a board member or the secretary for over 30 years.

Nancy's joy in life was derived from being with her family. Nancy was always a hard worker, loved being outdoors and working with her hands. She sewed many quilts to keep her family warm and always sent them home with something from her kitchen.
