Mr. Caldwell was born December 8, 1933 in New Albany Mississippi to the late Claude L. Caldwell and Elizabeth Bryant Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell served in the United States Air Force obtaining the rank of captain prior to his honorable discharge and was a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
He founded of Claude Caldwell Homes, and was a past president of the Memphis Home Builders Association and a Realtor.
He leaves his loving wife of 50 years, Carol Caldwell, his three children Daniel Caldwell, Jennifer Caldwell Angelakis and Chris Caldwell, as well as 10 grandchildren.
Mr. Caldwell is preceded by his sister Sara Caldwell Walker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Entombment will follow in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
