One sister, Mrs. Minnie Eytcheson, and two brother, Loyde and Ervie, besides a devoted husband, mother and two children and a host of relatives and friends survive her. Five sisters, Nettie Bruce, Mrs. Lennie Smith, Nora Bruce, Mrs, Mae Lease, Esther Bruce and one brother, Clifton proceeded her to the Great Beyond. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 140. She was a devoted lover of her home, children and husband and was everybody's friend. She held firmly on to life to the last because her departure meant the leaving of responsibilities to others. With the names of her loved ones, who had preceded her, upon her lips, she left to go on to a higher service with responsibilities that do not bring sorrow, heartache, pain and death. We shall remember her smiles, her patience in suffering and her cheerful disposition. Funeral services were conducted from the Baptist church Monday afternoon by Rev. I. H. Ferris, with burial in 1 the Odd Fellows cemetery.
