Mrs. Ada Taggart, 73, of 3012 Castle Rd. SE, Carrollton, died Sunday in Twin City Hospital at Dennison, after a four-week illness. Born November 3, 1904 in Perry Twp., a daughter of the late Merton and Susanna (Slates) Walters, she was a member of Kilgore Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the American Lutheran Women.
Survivors include a son Thomas of Scio; a brother, Roy Walters of Perrysville; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott, July 29, 1955 and two sisters. Services were scheduled Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Charles M. Horn officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
