Mr. Tommy Hannah, Sr. was born in Idabel, Oklahoma on May 19, 1925 to Tom and Julia Hannah. He attended the Oklahoma Elementary School System up to the eighth grade. His family then moved to Yuma, Arizona. He joined the Unites States Army at the age of 18 years and relocated to Vallejo, California. After three years, he moved to Fresno, California and married Ms. Catie Goodman. Tommy worked with Clyde Woods Construction Company and was a member of Local 194 union. He retired after 35 years. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a former member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and later joined Rising Star Baptist Church of Fresno, California under the leadership of Rev. B.T. Lewis. He departed this life on October 22, 1981 at the age of 66 years.

Mr. Tommy Hannah leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Mrs. Catie Hannah of Fresno, California; three sons: Troy Lee and James Hannah, both of Fresno, California, and Tommy Hannah, Jr. of San Diego, California; five daughters: Loretta Lee Parks of Los Angeles, California, Lonzella Mason, Linda Hannah, Lemoria Woods and Legeina Hannah, all of Fresno, California; two sisters: Anna Lee Littlefield of Fresno, California and Melinda Gray of Idabel, Oklahoma; 27 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Troy Lee Hannah, James Henry Hannah, Larry J. Mason, Sr., Tommy Hannah, Jr., Adolph Parks and James Steele.
