Wallace (Harry) Litton was born in Glasgow, Jefferson County Iowa to Washington and Martha Allison Litton. He was the seventh of nine children. John (1845-1863), Elizabeth (1848-1850), James Burton (1850-1937), William Day (1854-1938), Joseph Allison (abt 1858-1877), Lula Bell Jordan (1860-1929) Benjamin Duffield (1868-1924), and Clyde (1872- ?).Martha moved her children to Ness County Kansas in 1872, later emigrating to the state of Washington.
Harry Litton, well known merchant operating Litton Variety Store Blaine, Washington, died at a local hospital Friday April 30, 1937, 74 years of age, following a serious operation. He was a resident of Blaine for forty years and a former resident of Bellingham, Washington.
Per the obituary survivors include his widow Emma Litton, two brothers James of Bellingham and Benjamin of Gove, Kansas (Benjamin was deceased at this time it would have been William), and two nephews, Harry, San Pedro, CA., and Bruce of Lynden. Funeral services were held at Prudy-McKinny funeral Chapel with Rev. H.Robbins officiating. Burial Greenacres Memorial Park.
