Mrs. Alvey was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Clarksburg, a daughter of Robert and Virginia Flowers Arehart. She married Wayne Harold Aley, Sr.
Surviving are daughters, Debra Clark, Virginia Baker, Diana (Mark) Wheeler, Brenda (Robert) Templeton and Dottie (Douglas) White; two sons, Wayne Harold jr (Dawn) aley and Thomas (Donna) Arehart; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Nancy) Arehart; a half-sister, Connie (Worthy) Poe; a half-brother, Robert (Paula) Arehart; and a special nephew, William 'Billy Joe' Arehart, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oct. 2, 2008; and two sisters, Dorothy Parks and Lila Arehart.
