CLARKSBURG - Elizabeth 'Betty' Arehart Aley ,78, of Junkins Avenue, Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at the United Hospital Center, followed an extended illness.
Mrs. Alvey was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Clarksburg, a daughter of Robert and Virginia Flowers Arehart. She married Wayne Harold Aley, Sr.
Surviving are daughters, Debra Clark, Virginia Baker, Diana (Mark) Wheeler, Brenda (Robert) Templeton and Dottie (Douglas) White; two sons, Wayne Harold jr (Dawn) aley and Thomas (Donna) Arehart; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Nancy) Arehart; a half-sister, Connie (Worthy) Poe; a half-brother, Robert (Paula) Arehart; and a special nephew, William 'Billy Joe' Arehart, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oct. 2, 2008; and two sisters, Dorothy Parks and Lila Arehart.
