Doris L. Galle, of Mineral Point, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 30, 2001. She was born on July 17, 1920, in Maine, the daughter of J. Benjamin and Thea (Halverson) Bollerud. Doris was a graduate of Hollandale High School and attended Plattteville Teachers College. On November 22, 1941 she married Charles V. Galle, who preceded her in death on May 19, 1987. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and the Trinity Guild. She is survived by her sons, Terry (Gail) of Janesville, David (Patricia) of Irving, Texas, Steven (Diane) of St. Charles, Illinois and Timothy (Maritza) of Miami, Fla..;her daughters, Judi Harris of Mineral Point, and Mary Jo Galle of Madison; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack(Pam) Bollerud of East Troy, Wis.; a step-sister, Beverly (Dahl) Cushman of Mineral Point; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at 11 a.m. at TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, Mineral Point. Visitation will be held on wednesday, Jan.2,2002, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at GORGEN FUNERAL HOME, Mineral Point, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Internment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Mineral Point.
