Rites Today at Verona for Andrew Penfield
VERONA — Funeral services for Andrew Penfield, 86, who died Saturday at his home at Ripon, were to be held today in the Baptist church, the Rev. T. J. Gibson officiating. Burial was in the Verona Cemetery.
Penfield was a native of Verona township and a farmer. About 40 years ago he accepted a position as turnkey at the Waupun prison, he held the job until age limit expired.
Surviving are his widow, sons, Harry, Harold, Angeworth, Waupun, step-daughters, Loretta O'Connor, Wauwautosa, Nelli O'Connor, Madison and Delia Sylvester, Ripon. Buhrother, Arthur, Fitchburg, and sister, Mrs. Sarah Miles, Bayfield, also survive.
