Eliza (Barnard) Straw was born 24 March 1812 in Weare, New Hampshire, the daughter of Reuben and Huldah (Eaton) Barnard, the 3rd of 8 known children. She married Israel Straw and had 7 known children by him: Edgar Frank, Grace Edna, Mary Jane, Albro H., Sarah E; Sara Adeline and George Henry. Apparently after her husband's death she returned to Weare as in 1880 she is living with her two unmarried daughters: Mary Jane and Sara Adeline. Eliza died in Dunbarton, New Hampshire of pneumonia according to her death record.
