Billy H. Smith, a resident of Russell County for 81 of his 89 years, died at the Russell Rest Home where he had lived the past month. Death followed an illness of a year.
Survived by two brothers, Herbert of Alhambra, CA and Isaac, of Parsons.
Funeral at Deines Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Eklund officiating. Interment at Russell Cemetery.

He was born in Northampton County, PA, July 22, 1870, and came to this county in 1878. He farmed in Russell County for many years.
On June 1912, he married Carolyn Olson
