Marguerite Streit Rinefeldt (1915 - 2012)

Marguerite Streit Rinefeldt, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully Thursday morning, Feb. 23, 2012, during her 96th year. Service: 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3621 Tulsa Way, the Rev. Erik Gronberg officiating. Following committal prayers, she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Clarence, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: Marguerite will lie in state on Sunday at Robertson Mueller Harper where family and friends will be received in the Great Room from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to the Music Fund at Trinity Lutheran Church or to Odyssey Hospice, in Marguerite's name, is suggested.

Survivors: In addition to her daughters, Janice Rinefeldt Poole and Greta Rinefeldt Chisholm and her husband, LaRue, Marguerite is survived by her grandchildren, Laura Poole Garry and her husband, Shannon, Jeremy Poole and his wife, Deborah, Elliott Chisholm and Amber Chisholm; great-grandchildren, Timothy, Aidan, Addison and Delaney Garry and Caleb Poole; brother, Robert Streit and his wife, Jean; sisters, Agnes Streit Miller, Ruth Streit Capps and Dorothy Streit Wisdom; sister-in-law, Peggy Rinefeldt Felty and her husband, F.T.; and nieces and nephews and their families.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3621 Tulsa Way with the Rev. Erik Gronberg officiating. Following committal prayers, she will be laid to rest next o her husband, Clarence, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Robertson Mueller Harper Funeral home from 1-3 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the music fund at Trinity Lutheran Church or to Odyssey Hospice. Marguerite was born in the Streit Community in Wilbarger County Texas to George and Lena Kahl Streit. She married Clarence Earl Rinefeldt on October 18, 1942. They moved to Fort Worth in 1946 when Clarence began working for Consolidated Aircraft. They joined the Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in the Lydia Circle and taught Sunday School. Marguerite will lovingly be remembered for her wonderful meals; her ability to engage anyone in conversation; her humorous stories and witty phrases; her love of dancing and socializing with family and friends; and most of all her love of Christ. All who met her loved her and she will be missed and cherished in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence who died in 1996, brothers Homer, George and Ernest Streit and sister Annette Streit McLean.
