Benjamin Wesley Loveless, 93, Jones Drive, Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at his residence. The funeral service will be February 24, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Jeff Griffin and Rev. John C. Wilson the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Russell County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be February 23, 2012.

He was born November 25, 1918, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. He was the son of the late Loma Anderson Loveless and the late John Tom Loveless.

He was an auto mechanic and a member of First Baptist Church of Russell Springs, KY. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sullivan Loveless, and by two brothers, Paul Loveless and Tommy Loveless, and three sisters, Pearl Nunn, Dolene Marcum, and Jessie Catton.

He is survived by the following: Five children: Daniel Dale (Karen) Loveless, Jamestown, KY; Betsy A (Jeffery) Hopper, Bardstown, KY; Samuel Ray (Sherry Lynn) Loveless, Somerset, KY; and Lana C. (Alan) Loy, Shelbyville, KY; and Steven Wesley Loveless, Berea, KY; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister: Joyce Smith, Bowling Green, KY. The Bernard Funeral Home, Russell Springs, handled arrangements.
