Memorial services for Arnold "Stu" Stewart Shouse, 57, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, March 2, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville. He died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at home.
He was raised in Jeffersonville, and was a 1973 graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He loved Jeff High basketball and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also loved to work on his own cars. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Shouse; two children, Kelly Carkuff and her husband, Dustin, of Jeffersonville, and Barry Stewart Shouse and his wife, Abigail, of Louisville; two grandchildren, Lilly Carkuff and William Carkuff; father, Arnold "Stu" Stewart Shouse; sister, Linda Shaver and her husband, William, of Georgetown; three step-siblings, Donna Young, of Louisville, Thomas Young, of Jeffersonville, and William Young; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Shouse.
