Annie Evans was born to the parentage of Ethel and John Love on December 6, 1920 in Heleanor, Arkansas.

Annie was raised in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1950 she moved to Los Angeles, California with her husband Willie J. Evans and son, the late James E. Couch.

Annie was employed with Chase Bag Co. up until 1962, at which time she became a foster parent until she fell ill in 1975.

Annie stood for what she believed in. She was a very strong and powerful woman. But most of all she loved and cherished each and everyone.

She left to mourn: Two daughters, Judy Rosser of Chino, CA. and adopted daughter Earlene Dixson of Los Angeles, CA. Four sisters: Rosie Williams of Memphis, Tenn., Emma Parsons of Los Angles, CA., Ethel Reed of Inglewood, CA. and Aline Murphy of Los Angeles, CA. Two brothers: Robert Brisco of Memphis, Tenn. and Roosevelt Brisco of Los Angeles, CA. Seven grandchildren; Robert Reed, Jr., Victor Rosser, Patricia Chung, James E. Couch, Jr., Michael Couch, Debra Welton and Sandra Couch. Five great grandchildren; Carlin Couch, Rolanda Brown, Anthony, Michael & Joshua Couch. Also a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
