Adrienne Russell Gardner, 80, passed away September 21, 2003, in Murray, Utah.
Born February 14, 1923, in Ogden, Utah, daughter of Anthony and Nellie Anderson Russell. Married Neil Riggs Gardner February 2, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Ann (Brent) Tingey. She was a school teacher in the Murray School District for 31 years and a volunteer at the Salt Lake County Complex for 19 years. Mom enjoyed teaching, volunteering, Volkswalks, gardening, growing roses, reading and most of all, her family.
Survived by children, Kathy (Calvin) MacKay, Peoria, IL; Paul Russell (Linda) Gardner, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren, Blake (Susannah) MacKay, Brent (Melanie) Gardner, Jon (Danielle) Gardner, Russell (Emily) MacKay, Emily (Travis) Allen, Kent MacKay, Tyler Gardner; two great-grandchildren, Bethany Gardner and Anne MacKay; brothers and sister, Glayden (Betty) Russell, Glendora, CA: Donald (LaDona) Russell, Murray; Doris (Del) Cantrell, Murray; half-brothers, Norman (Diane) Russell, North Ogden; Bryant (Diane) Russell, Ogden; half-sister, Rosemary (Roger) Smith of Roy.
At the request of the deceased, private graveside services will be held Friday at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State, Provo, Utah. Friends and family may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
