Clyde Braithwaite, age 75, of Springville, died Tuesday, June 29, 1993 in Springville of a lingering illness. He was born April 3, 1918 in Spanish Fork, to Willard and Tabeitha Davis Braithwaite. He married Ione Ostler of Springville on September 10, 1946 in Salt Lake City. He is survived by his wife IoneIone of Springville, four daughters and two sons, and their spouses: Donald and Sandra Hammond of Ephraim; Sandy and Brenda Carter of Santaquin; Carl and Marsha Stevens of Orem; David and Carma Brown of Salem; Randy and Ronda Braithwaite of Tulare, California; Kevin and Peggy Braithwaite of Provo; 24 grandchildren; one sister, Leora Ostler Hazelton of Springville; and one brother, George Braithwaite of Spanish Fork. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Taylor Braithwaite, his parents and three sisters, Helen, Mary and Irene, and five brothers, David, Wayne, Mel, Vernon and Elden. Burial was July 2, 1993.
