RAYNE - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, Rayne, Louisiana, for Frances Amick Cunningham, 91, who passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Gulf Breeze, Florida.



Interment will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Rayne, Louisiana. The Rev. Charles L. Floyd, Jr. will officiate the services.



Frances Amick Cunningham, the daughter of Frank MacLaurin Amick and Nanny Jackson Amick was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina on December 12, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Cunningham, Jr., her parents, her sisters, Marguerite Amick, Marie Amick Corbin, brothers, James Henry Amick and Cecil MacLaurin Amick. She is survived by her sister Lucille Amick Powell, her son, Judge James M. Cunningham, III and wife Linda, and her daughter, Kathleen Cunnigham Kuehl and husband Thomas, four grandchildren, Katherine (Daisy) Cunningham, Merritt Cunningham, Michael Bernard (Melissa) and Kevin Bernard (Mindy), three step-grandchildren, Kathleen Kuehl Wilbur (Michael), Kelly Kuehl Lyon (Rex) and Robert Reese Salassi. Eight great-grandchildren, Blake Bernard, Mason Bernard, Bryce Bernard, Parker Bernard, Paige Bernard, Davis Wilbur, Jackson Wilbur and Weston Wilbur.



Frances passed away in Gulf Breeze, Florida, but spent most of her life in Rayne, Louisiana. She was a member of Rayne Garden Club, United Methodist Women and many other service organizations.



In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Centenary United Methodist Church, 308 N. Parkerson Street, Rayne, Louisiana 70578. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Bay Breeze Nursing Home and Regency Hospice for their care and respect shown to our Mother and Grandmother during her short time with them.
