Rose Tomaszewski, 43, of N. Johnson Street, South Bend, died at 8:20pm Sunday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of several years. She was born on April 1, 1926, in New York City to Charles and Lena Rosenzweig, and came to South Bend 20 years ago.
In 1952 she was married to Walter P. Tomaszewski, who survives along with three daughters, Sue, Amy (Amelia) and Sandy (Sandra), all at home, and a sister, Mrs. Frances (James) Anderson of Mishawaka.
Services will be held at 1:30pm in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, Rabbi Jacob G. Bergman of the Congregation Sons of Israel officiating. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka.
