Sheffield, IL - Margaret J. "Peg" Schutz, 82, of Sheffield died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.
Peg was born June 23, 1929 in Broadmoor, the daughter of Floyd and Abigail (Anthony) Hull. She graduated from Sheffield High School in 1947. She served in the U.S Army WAC from 1949 to 1950. She married Dr. D.W. Schutz DVM in 1978 in Manlius. He died in 1982.
Peg had worked for 20 years for Harper Wyman in Princeton and for 10 years for DuKane Company in St. Charles, IL. She had also worked for 15 years at the Sheffield Historical Society.
Survivors include four children, Danny Bowman, Michael Bowman, Linda Bowman Moss and Jeffrey Bowman; and two sisters, Grace Renner and Patricia Wheelock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and three brothers.
Burial will be in Sheffield Cemetery.
