Eugene Fullingim was born on 1 July 1928 at Ada, Pontotoc Co., Oklahoma, the seventh of eight children born to Edgar James and Julia M. (Tatum) Fullingim.
Eugene Fullingim, 64, of Oklahoma City, went to be with his Lord Monday, October 19, 1992, after a lengthy illness. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was married to Ruth Mae Martin on 18 Sept 1952 at Konawa, Seminole Co., Oklahoma, and together they had two daughters and a son and made their home primarily in Oklahoma City.
At the time of his death, Eugene was survived by his wife, Ruthy, of the home; daughters, Vickie and Sandra of OKC; a son, David of Tennessee; a brother, Lloyd Fullingim and a sister, "Sis" Jones of Ada. He was also survived by eight grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 22 Oct 1992, at Oaklawn [Memorial Gardens] Cemetery, Spencer, OK, located at Jones Rd. & Wilshire.
