Nathan Henderson and Edith "Edy" Boshers and they had 10 children: Ella, William Andrew Tomas, James H. "Tom", George Lucius, Ada F., Cora Dean, Avery J. "Ava", Doll D., Nell W. and Mattie "Sweet" Kennedy. When he died in 1934, the headline for his obituary in the paper was man dies leaving 180 descendants - ten of these were his children while the rest were grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
