Glorene Cannon, age 80, formerly of Winfield, passed away March 9, 1012 at Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born January 10, 1932 in Parsons, Ks to John and Ida (Snyder) Dringenberg. She was raised and educated in Parsons, graduating from Parsons High School in 1950. She attended Labette Community College.
She married Richard Cannon, June 26, 1952, in Arkansas He passed away May 10, 2003.
Glorene was a housewife and help raise a son and a daughter. She moved to Fayetteville in 2003 to be closer to her family.
She is survived by Son Gary and wife Ellen Cannon of Baton Rouge, La., Daughter Debbie and husband Jack Kern of Fayetteville, Ark. Brother, Verland Dringenberg of Parsons, Ks. Sister Lorene Stuteville of Manhattan, Ks. Grandchildren Christy, Cody, Kennedy, Cannon.

Services were Monday, 1pm at Highland Cemtery. Gary Cannon and Jack Kern were officiates, various family members served as casket bearers Miranda Nation sang ‘Amazing Grace' and ‘Abide with Me'
