Eleanor Reeve Arnold Ogden, 86, Christian Health Center, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. John R. Christian and the Rev. Dr. Rodney Travis officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. (EST) in Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery, Campbellsburg. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home.
A native of Owen County, she was born April 11, 1916, the daughter of the late Ira Lee and Ruth Azalee Reeve Arnold. She was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church. Her husband, Noble B. Ogden, died in 1982. A son, Vernon Calvin Ogden, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Wood, Lexington, Ruth Wood, Hopkinsville; two brothers, Dr. I.L. Arnold, Cahttanooga, Tenn., Dr. Charles C. Arnold, Owenton; a sister, May Blanchard, Tucson, Ariz., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the flower or benevolent fund at Second Baptist Church.
