Following the plot map at the cemetery and the county record for Mrs.Kirby,I did not find a headstone in the recorded plot;she is in theory, buried next to her brother, and the record reads "Sadie Kirby";I find no headstone for either.

Sadie's great niece Cleo Lorraine Nunnelley-Zimmerman remembers Sadie as being a pleasant woman who dressed very neat and tidy and very polite.

Sadie's was born in New Brunwick and was raised in New York. She married Edgar Kirby in New York. By the time of the 1920 census, Sadie is found living with her brother Charles Herbert Lyons and lists herself as a widow. by the time of the 1930 census, Sadie is still living with her brohter Charles Herbert Lyons, and also their brother Edwin J. Lyons is living with them. It appears the 3 of them decided to live together.

Sadies husband was 25 years her senior, and as of yet, it does not appear they had any children. She was 41 when they married, and by the age of 52 on the 1920 census she lists herself as a widow.

Sadie's father was James Herbert Lyons Birth Dec. 18, 1818, Death the 29th of unknown month in the year 1879 in Saint Johns, New Brunswick, Canada. James HErbert Lyons was the Captain of the English Ship "Empress" He died of a terrible accident at Lawton Wharf, having fallen off his ship and caught between the ship and the Wharf.
Sadie's mother was Sarah Ann O. Parsons Birth March 2, 1827 in New York, New York, Death Oct 3, 1915 in New York, New York.
