Mrs. Maggie Parrish

Mrs. Maggie Parrish of 105 Olive Street died Sunday night at Volunteer General Hospital following a lengthy illness. A member of the First Baptist Church, she was 81.

Mrs. Parrish husband was a leader in high school band work in the state and director of music at Martin High School for 15 years. He died in 1957.

She leaves two sons, Bill Parrish of Columbiana, Alabama, and Jack Parrish of Rexford, Montana; two daughters, Mrs. L.R. Wootton of Athens, Georgia, and Mrs. Usher Abell of Vermillion, South Dakota; one sister, Mrs. Jess F. Turner of Martin, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
