Edward A. Davis
Edward A. Davis, 51 years old, died suddenly Thursday evening at 8 o'clock in the office of the Olean Transfer Company. Mr. Davis had been in ill health for only two days and his condition was not considered alarming, it was said. He was an employe of the Olean Transfer Company for the last twelve years. He had just finished his regular routine of work for the company last night and came into the office when he was stricken with a heart attack. He died before medical aid could be summoned.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Maude Davis; two sons, Harry and Perry Davis of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Gillmer of Cohocton, N.Y., Mrs. Claude Reed and Mrs. Arthur Sirdevan of this city; three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. F.E. Cathers of California.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
