Cord Jeffrey Alexander, 27, of Urbana died early Sunday morning (May 21, 1989) at Burnham Hospital, Champaign.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carrington Funeral Home, Fairmount. Burial will be in GAR Cemetery, Homer.
Visitation will be for one hour before the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Alexander was born October 7, 1961, at Danville, a son of Clifford and Dorothy Gerlach Alexander. He married Lynn Ferrell on Feb. 20, 1985 at Danville. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Danville, two uncles and an aunt.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle.
Mr. Alexander was a graduate of Danville High School and served in the US Coast Guard from 1979 to 1982. He was a salesman for Illini Lincoln-Mercury, Champaign.
