Donna G. Beldon
Donna Gay (Lacy) Beldon, 57, passed away after an extended illness on Friday, June 18, in her home.
Donna was born Oct. 18, 1946, in Heber Springs, Ark. She moved to Indiana in 1957 and had lived here until her passing. On April 23, 1966, she married the love of her life, Larry Kent Beldon. Donna worked at Elkhart Products for 17 years where she had many friends. Everyone always knew on their birthday Donna would be coming in with their favorite cake. Donna loved life and laughter, and kept all around smiling and laughing. Donna was a member of Osceola General Baptist Church, Osceola, Ind.
Donna is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Anissa Kay (Beldon) Rumble; son, Kent Lacy Beldon; three grandchildren, Ashley Marie, Aaron Michael and Riley Noel; her mother, Cora Jamae Lacy; two sisters, Joan (Lacy) Sabbe and her husband, Donald, and Amy Diana Lacy.
Her father, Rev. Adolph Lacy, preceded her in death in June 2003.
Viewing will be today, June 20, from 2 until 8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, Ind., where funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 21, with Rev. Timothy Green officiating. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to all of those of St. Joseph County Hospice who loved and cared for her during her illness.
