The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, Alabama Sunday, June 28, 1959. Fayetteville, Tenn. Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Walker Riley, 74, formerly of the Shady Grove community, who died in Adrian, Mich., Thursday night after a short illness, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Shady Grove Methodist Church. The Rev. Ollie Binkley officiated. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Riley had made her home in Adrian for the past 17 years. Her husband, James Monroe Riley, died in 1938. She was a member of the Shady Grove Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Virta Pogue of Franklin County, Mrs. Ruth Speck and Mrs. Owene Hoag, both of Adrian, Mich.; seven sons, Ellis of Hammond, Ind., Don of Sanford, Fla., Thomas H. of Flintville, R. E., Ernest, Onis and Eugene, all of Adrian; one sister, Eunice Pogue, Huntland, Tenn.; and one brother, Willie Walker of Lincoln County. Ralston Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
