Augusta, GA---Mrs. Evelyn Jenkins Morgan, 98, entered into rest on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Sterling House of North Augusta.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Kenneth Word officiating.
Mrs. Morgan was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and attended South Georgia Teachers College. She was a member of The Hill Baptist Church, Faith Sunday School Class and the McRae Circle.
Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of the late Charles Jenkins and Hattie Lewis Reeves Jenkins of Burke County, Georgia. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard Morgan and brothers, Charles Talmadge Jenkins and Lewis Conley Reeves.
Survivors include her niece, Curtis R. Chafin of Augusta, nephew, Norman T. Reeves of Keysville and special friends, Cheryl and Jerry Frazier, Amber, Hannah and Noah Wilcox of Maggie Valley, NC.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Platt's Crawford Avenue.
