HOOD - At the residence, 830 Market Street, on Thursday, August 21, 1952, KATHERINE HOFFMANN, wife of the late George Hood Sr., mother of George Hood, Jr. and Arthur McAvoy and the late Louis McAvoy and Charles Hood, sister of Augustus Hoffmann of Baton Rouge, La. also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, age 77 years; a native and resident of this city. Relatives and friends of the family also employes of the Roosevelt hotel are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 2241 Magazine street corner Philip street on Friday afternoon, August 22, 1952 at 2 o'clock. Interment in Greenwood cemetery.
