Mrs. Carrie G. Oosterhoudt, seventy-nine years old, widow of the late Charles Oosterhoudt, died Monday evening at seven o'clock at the Olean General Hospital. She was born in Olean, April 20, 1846, and had resided in the city practically her entire life, moving to Westons fourteen years ago.
She is survived by one son, Chester I. Oosterhoudt, of Buffalo, one daughter, Emma Oosterhoudt, of New York City, five grandchildren and three brothers, I.M. Godfrey of Olean, E.D. Godfrey of Washington, D.C., and F.W. Godfrey of Boston, Mass.. She was also a sister of the late Senator F.N. Godfrey.
She was a life member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of this city.
Burial will be in the family plot in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
