A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at 2:51 a.m. at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. She was 82, a resident of Ethel and a native of Amite County, Miss. Visiting at Ethel Baptist Church, Ethel, on Wednesday, March 7, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Alvin Hall and the Rev. Darwin Hall. Burial in Redwood Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Ann "Libby" and husband Joe Hollier, Madison, Miss., and Carlous and husband Jim Stevens, and Catherine "Gay" and husband Charles Strain, all of Ethel; son, David Anderson , D.D.S., and wife Renee Gremillion Anderson , Clinton; two sisters, Faye Williams, Katy, Texas, and Geraldine Murray, Fairhope, Ala.; brother, Freddie Wall, Chatawa, Miss.; grandchildren, Bryan D. Johnston, Brent A. Johnston, Brad M. Johnston, James Carl Stevens, Amy C. Stevens, Jenny Stevens, Susan H. McMichael, Stephen Anderson , Will Anderson , Thomas Anderson and Emily Anderson ; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abi Johnston and Luke Daniel and Andrew Johnston. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Anderson ; parents, Hollis and Addie Easley Wall; grandson, Scott Stevens; sister, Melvine Fortinberry; and brothers, Leslie, Billy, Robert, Ray and Turner Wall. Pallbearers will be grandsons. She was a member of Ethel Friday Club and a lifelong member of Ethel Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Ethel Baptist Church, P.O.
