Obituary: COHEN, CELIA, of Miami, passed away Dec. 2, 1996. More beautiful than ever, she is now with God, whom she kept firmly in her heart for 105 years. Always affirming honesty and the power of positive thought and action, she was a model of good health and courage. A devout Jew, her intellect, integrity, and individualism were apparent to everyone. We all learned much about self-determination and perseverance from one who never gave up and lived by her beliefs: 1. Keep love in your heart, 2. Aspire towards peace of mind, and 3. Know that God is righteous in His judgement. She is survived by 3 (of her 6) children Shirley Cooper of Hollywood, FL, Estelle Schreiber of NYC, and Michael Corey of Miami (her pre-deceased children Isaac "Ike" Cohen, Joe Cohen, and Rachel "Ray" Silber); 8 grandchildren: Geoffrey Cooper, Lee, Barry, and Mark Silber, Michelle and Jonathan Cohen, Joanne and Robin Schreiber; 6 great-grandchildren of whom Angela Cooper was closest and dearest.
