He and Emeline had 11 children: Alvie, Annie, Harry, Joseph, John, Charles, Effie, Bertha, Leslie, Jacob and one that died as an infant.
Jeremiah's son, Leslie S. Zeger, was killed in WW1 and is buried in France. There is a memorial stone for Leslie right beside Jeremiah and Emeline's headstone to the left.
Jeremiah is buried in Fairview Cemetery in Mercersburg, Pa., with his wife and his daughters, Bertha and Annie.
