Mary was born June 27, 1834. She married Robert Pollock, the adopted son of her parents, on March 8, 1855. They
were both members of the Good Hope Presbyterian Church, he being an elder in the church. They reside on a farm adjoining Mary's parent's "Deer Park" farm.
