Mary Thomas Alsop, 84, of Spotsylvania died Thursday, May 26, 2005 at her home. She was the widow of Edward S. Alsop and a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church and the Baraca Bible Class.
Survivors include her two sons, William Lee Alsop and his wife, Denise, and Leroy Scott Alsop and his wife, Missy, both of Spotsylvania; two granddaughters, Nicole Leigh Alsop and Melissa Lyn Alsop both of Spotsylvania.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 28 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with Rev. J. Larry Haun and Rev. J. Howard Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
