Andrew Pankrtaz, Route 5, Marshfield, died at 3:50 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been a patient since Jan. 4. He was 90.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt, with the Rev. Raymond H. Bornback, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 2.pm. today and until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Rembs Kundinger Chapel and an hour before serves at the church. The Notre Dame Mom and Dad's Club scheduled a prayer service for 4 p.m. today followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:30, a parish rosary at 8 and a Christian Mothers Society rosary at 8:15.

Mr. Pankratz was born Feb. 14, 1887 at Kellnersville, Manitowoc County. He attended Marshfield schools. On Sept. 26, 1911, he married Theresa Weigel in Marshfield. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1961.

Mr. and Mrs. Pankrtaz farmed in the town of Marshfield until retiring in 1954, moving to Hewitt. He was custodian and janitor of St. Michael's Church for the past 20 years.

Mr. Pankratz was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Its Holy Name Society, the Senior Citizen's Club, and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. W.J. (Rosina) Straub, Spencer, and Sister Marie Pankratz, S.S.N.D., Marshfield, five sons, Theodore, Lawrence, and Mathew, all of Marshfield, Herman of Sturgeon Bay, and Felix of Wayland, Mich; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one brother, John of Marshfield.

He was predeceased by his wife on July 25, 1971, one daughter, five sons, two brothers, and three sisters.
