Herkimer Dec. 29 - Mrs. Alice Walton Bellinger, 64, widow of Graham Bellinger of Herkimer died at a Utica hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Fart Plain March 1, 1863 a daughter of the late Peter and Susan Walton Sparks. She was of colonial decent being a direct descendant of Pearl Sparks an Englishman coming from Connecticut to the town of Minden before the Revolutionary War and who was with General Herkimer at the battle of Oriskany. On her mothers side she was a descendent of Herman Vedder one of the original settlers of Schenectady in 1663?.
She leaves a nephew and three nieces.
The funeral ... burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
