Dortha (Betty) Vought, 71, passed away February 3, 1997.
She was born Nov. 30, 1925 in Thomas, West Virginia, to Samual Herbert and Dollie Sophia Edeburn. She married Hobert Winger Vought, August 9, 1942 in Maryland, marriage was later solemnized June 6, 1957 in the Manti Temple. She loved giving to others, enjoyed crafts and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She had great faith through all of her many trials of life.
She is survived by her husband, Hobert; five children, Patricia (Gorden) Campbell; Charles Vought; Eugene (Keralee) Vought; Mark (Kelcey) Vought; Jeffery (Faith) Vought; Hector Cando; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters. She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb 7, 1997, 11 a.m., Kearns North Stake Center, 4620 West 5015 South Friends may call Thursday evening 6-8 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Rd., and one hour prior to services at the church Friday. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
