Mrs. Evelyn M. Grand, 69,
Milwaukee, former resident of
Wisconsin Rapids, died at 1:45
p.m. Tuesday at St. Francis
Hospital, Milwaukee.
Services will be at 2 p.m.
Friday at Wilkinson Chapel, the
Rev. Calvin Fischer officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill
Cemetery.
The former Evelyn Gazeley
was born in Mauston July 19,
1903, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lester J. Gazeley. She resided
in Wisconsin Rapids about 50
years ago. She retired Aug. 1,
1968, after 40 years as a lighting
planner for the Milwaukee
Electric Co. She was a member
of Chapter No. 87, Order of
Eastern Star, Wisconsin Rapids.
S u r v i v o r s include two
brothers, Leslie J. Gazeley,
Auburn, Wash., and Arthur A.
Gazeley, Wisconsin Rapids; two
sisters, Mrs. David Beier,
Rhame, N.D., and Mrs. Earl
Pickham Hartland, Wis., and
several nieces and nephews. She
was preceded in death by her
parents, two brothers, and an
infant sister.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 2 p.m.
Thursday until time of services.
