Funeral services will be held at
2 p.m. Saturday at the First Con-
gregational Church for Mrs. Les-
ter J. Gazeley, 92, who died Wed-
nesday at the home of a daughter
in Milwaukee.
The Rev. R. W. Kingdon will
officiate and burial is to follow
in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Gazeley, the former Clara
Atkins, was born in Grand Rap-
ids, Mich., April 12, 1870, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B.
Atkins. She resided in Central
Wisconsin almost all of her life
with the exception of the past
nine years when she lived in Mil-
waukee.
Her marriage to Lester J.
Gazeley took place Oct. 8, 1891.
at Durand. Her husband died
April 14, 1935. One child, three
sisters and a brother, also pre-
ceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Willis,
Milwaukee; Arthur and Charles,
Wisconsin Rapids, and Leslie, Au-
burn, Wash.; three daughters,
Mrs. Dave Beier, Rhame, N. D.;
Mrs. Evelyn Grand, Milwaukee,
and Mrs. Earl Peckham, Hart-
land; 19 grandchildren and 34
great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gazeley was a member o£
the First Congregational Church
here for 60 years. She was a life
member of Rainbow Chapter No.
87, Order of Eastern Star, of this
city. The latter group will con-
duct special services at Baker
Chapel at 8 o'clock this evening.
Friends may call at Baker Cha-
pel from this afternoon until noon
Saturday and at the church after
1 p.m.
Memorials may be designated
for the F i r s t Congregational
Church building fund.
