Charles Matthew Boll died at 6 p.m. Tuesday following a heart attack. He had been in poor health since August and had been confined to this bed for the last 2 weeks.
He was born Aug. 11, 1869 in Brothertown, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Erasmus Boll. He was married to Katherine Bink, Nov. 18, 1893 in St. Mary’s church, Chilton.
The couple lived on the Boll homestead for five years, and then purchased a farm in the town of Charlestown. They lived there until 1918 when they moved to their present home in the city.
Survivors are his widow, seven children; Mrs. Walter Tice, (Laura) Pittsburgh, Pa.; Miss Pauline Boll, Milwaukee; Mrs. Lester Kreil, (Emma) Milwaukee; Mrs. Greg Olig (Appalonia) Milwaukee, Carl, Petersburg, Mich.; Mrs. Armin Schnell (Dorothy) Chilton; Miss Helen Boll, Chilton.
Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. E. Beyer, Detroit, Mich.; 4 brothers, Frank, Brothertown; Henry, Channing, Minc.; George, Congress, Canada and William, Vovile, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Saturday and the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home and at St. Mary’s, Chilton with the Rev. Esdepsky officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
