Joseph E. Boll, widely known and highly respected citizen of Charlestown, died at his home early Monday morning following a paralytic Stroke which he suffered Thanksgiving evening.
Mr. Boll was born at Charlesburg June 13, 1873, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Erasmus Boll. He was united in marriage Nov. 16, 1897, and for several years they resided on the Boll homestead in Charlestown. They then purchased a farm in Charlestown where they have since resided.
Mr. Boll is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Walter Ruh, two sons, Erasamus of Milwaukee and Roland who lives at home, his aged mother, Mrs. Susan Schwerzler of Waupaca; six brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Rev. H. E. Hunck officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
